I'm interested in who the Stalcup girls married in the early generations. I've been told a Jasper Ball married one. Did any other Ball or Brown marry a Stalcup. And,I guess a Stalcup married a Chandler,of Swithen Chandler? One Jeremiah Chandler bought 50 acres 2 miles from me in about 180 3,from Elias Gererard,II..Mr Chandler soon left a widow,and is an early burial in Old Bethel Methodist a mile north of Bantam,Ohio.

Well, I thought this would be picked up on by someone with more authority, but I will take a stab at it. The four names mentioned in Debra's message were the daughters of Peter Stalcop and Katherine Peterson. Yes, Christina married Ericus Bjork, Brita married John Justus, and Maria married 1st Johan Cornelius VandeVer and 2nd Hans Jurgen Schmidt. BUT, Margaretta married John Morton. My own Justice line is [?] Johan,Peter,Peter,Andrew,Rev Jesse,Savil,Mary Elizabeth Justice Ely,with the last 3 living where I do since 1805. Peter Sr would have been a brother of John m Stalcup. Leslie Collier and I were active on the 1992-93 Prodigy on-line genealogy on TITUS. Capt Johan Hans Steelman m a Stalcup. I think Rev Jesse Justice's 1st wife was bro Eric Steelman's gdau. In some archives (I forget which list it was, sorry) I saw that one specific individual had been in contact with a descendant of Christina Stalcop who went back to Sweden with her Reverand husband when he was called back to Sweden. He knew of his "New Sweden" heritage, I was wondering if the person who was in contact with him still had his contact info. This was the line that left DE and migrated to Washington Co, VA; through what was then Augusta Co. Catherine married Elisha McNew. Maria first married Johan Cornelisson Vanderveer and they had a daughter Catharina who returned with Maria and Hans. She married Simon Johnson of Cecil Co., MD.
