Hello Listers,
I sent a message to this list at 10:30 a.m. today and it has not come to me.
Is it lost in cyber space? I guess this one is a test.
Thanks,

Sue, I am having the same occurence with my husbands family. James William
Jordan is listed in the Scioto County Census as being born in Delaware and
on his death certificate it shows Pennsylvania. This info may help me also.
I was just never smart enough to put a connection together. Thanks for
asking the question. Now I have something else to look at.

It is not just the Delaware List that is having problems. I understand it is

We just have to wait until they iron out the problem.

I would like a lookup on the surname GRUNDON or its variant spellings, ie
GRINDEN,GRONDON, etc. I found Ann Grundon marriage 1793 in Harford and there
should be a Samuel somewhere in MD.. Samuel was a Rev War vet . I got his
record from the Archives but there was nothing there to indicate where he lived
or who he was. Would appreciate any help.

Is there anyone that might have any information on the family name of
ABDIL, or JOSEPH.
This would probably be in Sussex Co or maybe up into Kent county.
Thanks Janet!
I`m searching for PETER FOGLE b.3-5-1799
w. Annarah [Dent] b.4-6-1803
On the 1850-1880 Census for Monongalia Co.,WV he is listed as
being born in PA.; I`ve had no luck finding a connection in PA.
On an 1880 Census for Peter`s son, {William W.Fogle} Peter is
listed born in DE; this leads me to believe there might of been
boundaries set for an area that was once PA, and became DE.
If there are any FOGLE researcher`s on this list that can
help me out, I surely would appreciate it!
Thanks,
Am looking for living descendants of Daniel Creedon and MaryAnn McGinty. They lived in Mill Creek Hundred. Daniel died in 1883 and MaryAnn died in 1894. Their daughter Hannah married James Traynor (which makes them my grandparents)
The Baptism records of all there children can be found at St. Joseph's on the Brandywine R. C. Church but I can not find a death notice or record of either Daniel or MaryAnn being buried at St. Joseph's. Can anyone help me find their burial site.
Sincerely, Miriam Davis,

Another excellent resource is The USGenWeb Project. The Delaware USGenWeb site is located at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~degenweb/ . Currently, all 3 counties have coordinators and great, growing web sites. But the
USGenWeb's mission of making data available for free on the web leaves much room for additional volunteers who are
interested in providing transcriptions of data, historical information, biographies, etc., etc., etc.
Please contact me if you would like to participate in this wonderful project.

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for your kind offer about Q.A. tombstones. Do you have anything
for William Smith b.c.1798 d.? ,his wife Sarah Smith b.c.1822 d.? or
their daughter Elenora/Lenora Sandy b.1846 d.after 1905 and her husband
Lewis Sandy b.?d.?

Portions of what is now Chester and Delaware Counties lines adjoining
Delaware were often not clearly marked and many people lived in either PA or
Del. and in many cases no one is certain as to which. I have found many of
these circumstances in my searches and also this can include the PA line
with MD between Chester and Cecil Counties.
Good hunting - it is difficult at best.

Hello List,
Does anyone have access to the marriage book which includes 1849 and would be
willing to look one up for me? I have been told variously that the following
cousins were married in MD and DE, so I need to know which is correct.
Bride: Juliette Bauduy McLane (daughter of Louis McLane)
Groom: Peter Bauduy Gareschi (not related)
DOM: September 25, 1849
Thanks so much,
Betty Gareschi Torno
