I have found the attached compilation of information about libraries with
good resources for Philadelphia-area genealogical research very helpful.
Perhaps it would be useful to others, too.
I'm sure I have missed some worthy locations. If anyone has any
additions, updates or corrections, I'd be interested.

Hello,
I was reading the archives for this list and saw a lot of discussion about
the Welsh Tract Baptist Church (or the Church at Iron Hill) in Pancader
Hundred, near Newark, DE. I wondered if any of you had managed to come up
with some information or directions to the church.
I am also researching this church. I had ancestors, John and Joan Eaton and
perhaps their sons George Eaton and Joseph Eaton who became members of this
church in early times. They came from the church at Pennypack, Philad
Can someone on this list give me a few suggestions on where to write in New Castle County for genealogy info? I am searching for information about the father of Jacob Streeter FOUNTAIN, Thomas FOUNTAIN, a native of England. He died in New Castle County, Del., in the autumn of 1829, at the age of forty-five years. Thomas's wife was Christiana (STREETS/STREETER) FOUNTAIN, who was born in New Castle County, Del.. She died there in the fall of 1827. Thomas and Christiana were the
parents of nine children, fiv
Hello to all. This is my first post to this list. I am researching the name
EATON in particular and interested in the history of the early Welsh Baptists
in general. I would like to share info with anyone else interested in these
subjects. I have much info on Eaton's but little on the Welsh settlement. I
would appreciate anyone who could help me with this part of my research.
Thanks,
Cathey

The Church is approximately one-half mile from Exit 1 of Interstate 95, which
is near the Maryland border. Here is a webpage about the church:

I have a scrap of paper on which is printed "HOMESTEAD CEMETERY",
"SINGLE INTERMENT", and a hand-written note that says it's from
Delaware. But I can't seem to locate a Homestead Cemetery in DE. Does
this name ring a bell with anyone on the List? Is it perhaps an older
cemtery that has been renamed?
Any and all clues appreciated.
