In 1794, NOV 3 - at the Clove Dutch Reformed Church of Clove Valley,
Wantage, Sussex Co. NJ. William Biard and Anna Kimer baptised their son

Does anyone have any information on this family. I am curious what the
names of their other children were and if the name possibly can be a
another form of the BIRD surname?

OK, I would be glad to add Rootsweb to my Christmas list, but is there a
mailing address? I'm still not comfortable doing the credit card thing on the
computer. I thought I would find it in my hard copies somewhere, but if I
wait until I dig through all of that to find it....well, you know the rest.
Would someone please post the mailing address?

Hi all I have recently learned that the Heritage book for Chilton has
been postponed and the deadline for submissions extended into late
January. I had missed the earlier deadline myself. I am going to devote
the next few months to promoting it as it will be around for a very long
time. I know of several major Southern libraries that have contracted
for the whole series. This is a great opportunity to put your lines info
out where it can be found by future generations. I should be wrapping up

I am looking for information about Asher Dennis. Asher was born 16MAY1903
and died Feb 1985. He may have lived in the Easton, PA area.
Asher is my GreatGrandfather Dennis' name (Elmhurst/Roaring Brook area) and
since it is such a rare name I think that this Asher might be related. If
anyone knows this family or knows of either Asher, please contact me.
Thanks for your help and Happy Holidays to all! Paul
Edwin & Lucy DENNIS (nee BARFORD) arrived in South Australia on board the
"Duntrune" in 1876. Their eleven children spawned many descendants which
were being recorded by Barbara JOHNSTON of Whyalla until she died in 1993.
I am prepared to coordinate Barbara's legacy with a family history
publisher - IF I receive enough support and cooperation from the families of

Hi
still looking for info on Joseph DENNIS b. 1775
often shown as brother of John DENNIS who marr. Anne CREIGHTON
and James DENNIS who marr.Prudence HAWKINS
I still wonder if Joseph is not a son of John and not a brother????
also, wondering about the Joseph DENNIS found in 1800 NC census:
Joseph DENNIS Buncombe Co p. 167 20100-01100-00
The age is right to fit my Joseph... his son Owen Corn DENNIS was born in
1799 so he could be one of the 2 young males.... I have info, thru family
recds, that Owen
Just wanted to post something to the list as I see so little going on
lately. I was at a library I don't often get to today and looked over
the Mills Atlas of SC.(if you have SC family you prob. know it)I have a
copy at home but I found a H Dennis on it that I had been casually
researching. Some of his apparant heirs(there was no estate I can find
but they sold land that belonged to him) ended up in Autauga County ,AL.
closely interacting with my Dennis line which came from Lincoln Co.,GA.

Hi all:
Looking for information on John and Mena (Optiz) Dennis
John and Mena had a son Asher E. Dennis who was born in Easton, PA probably
around 1904. Asher was married to Mildred Musselman. Asher had two
sisters, Elizabeth (Huff) Dennis and Beatrice (Weisel) Dennis.
NOTE: My great great grandfather's name was Asher Dennis from Roaring
Brook, PA near Moscow. Since Asher is not a very common name I am
interested in finding anyone who know the Asher Dennis family from Easton.
I am wondering if there

Looking for information on the family of John Dennis and Elizabeth Shear,

There are 13 Dennis family members listed in Starr's Cherokee genealogy
of the old Cherokee Indian families.
His book is indexed, as well as the 1835 Cherokee census, on line at a
rare book site at http://members.aol.com/rarebk
Once there, go to BOOKLISTS, and scroll down to the Cherokee genealogy
books, and the tutorial. It is all self-explanatory. Note, there is no
WWW in the address.
The site also contains a Cherokee genealogy "how-to" tutorial you can
read that explains how to do Cherokee genealogy
