Sorry if this has been discussed before....
I am looking for some information on Carey's Camp (or was it called
Carey's Corner?) which is located somewhere between Millsboro and
Gumboro. I vaguely remember going there once as a small child and
was trying to learn a bit more about it.
Thanks,
Jim Lynch

Hi Peggy,
You may want to make a photo copy, of these pages from the
HASTINGS Family Bible, on acid free paper. If you use a good copy
machine sometimes the copies turn out very well. Photo copies
should always be made of old papers/documents! :)
Happy hunting, Helen (DCGS)

Dear Carlene ,
Thanks for the correction. I mistakenly wrote Laura

The two sites below reprint old family histories. If you buy a
book they send you a catalog free. You can probably order the
catalog separately. The catalogs are interesting to read.

Can anyone please tell me the location of the Presbyterian Cemetery?
Or the name of the local newspaper in Milton around the turn of the
century?
I'd guess the Presbyterian Cemetery would be in Milton, since that is
where my g-grandfather, Joshua Bailey, lived and died. In an old
family album was his obituary - a small yellowed snippet torn out of
a newspaper. There is no newspaper name or date of death on it. I
thought that the graveyard might hold the answer to the question of
birth date and dea
