3. [DOR] BUDDEN - Thank You [1]
Hello I do think I have "Thanked" everyone separately for all the help in looking for the John Budden family in 1891 Census. If I did miss anyone, I'm sorry and appreciated all ideas. Someone has now located the death for John Budden which is as yet not on freeBMD site. This surprised me as I thought he had survived his 1881 Hospital stay. John Budden died in 1881 - 3rd Qu. and it is registered in Barton Regis which is part of Bristol. When I could not find this family on the 1891 Census in Brist

8. [DOR] "snr" query [1]
Hello Listers, This is of interest to me as well as one sister who married the chap in England 1825 is supposed to have asked her husband, while she was on her deathbed, to marry her younger sister when she was gone. This he did in 1836. The whole family group had emigrated to the U.S. in 1833 so would this have affected matters? Cheers, John Chant Canvey Island, Essex Dorset names: Chant, Hansford, Stanton.
9. [DOR] Squibb/Blandford/1841 census [1]
Hi and thank you for all the essential information I have received about the Squibb family. Does anyone have access to the 1841 Census for Blandford? I am still investigating Charles Squibb born 1817 Blandford Forum, Dorset (married Catherine born 1822) I think he may not have been married at this point as his first child was not born until 1843 so this could give me his parents. Thank you all again, Fiona

11. [DOR] Hall/Foyle [1]
Hello All Just to let all those that had kindly searched for the marriage of Henry Hall and Maria Foyle, found them in the records today at the FRO , with the red herring a subscriber had put on the IGI that they were married 1848/49 I searched 1847/1853 last time I went as the eldest son I had a birth cert for was Dec 1849 which tied up with 1951 census, so kept going forward just In case they were a bit late in tying the knot. Decided to go backward today and found them in December 1845, so now

No - you do not have to live in the UK, in fact most of the OPC's don't and a lot of my volunteer transcribers don't. James Purkiss j.c.purkiss@gmx.co.uk has agreed to take on W.Came, but at the moment I don't think he has much material ready, which is why we haven't put up his contact details yet. 23. [DOR] Dorset transcriptions [1]
Hi everyone, Well John Love was the only one of twelve of us with any luck so far, here are the transcriptions. NOTE The Symes names varied from Simes,Symes and Syms, although I am sure they are all the same family. Firstly variations happened in the one family, secondly the vicar changed and thirdly the latest vicar, although mainly very clear, does a flourish on the end which makes it hard to determine whether his pigeon script is an ES, although I suspect it is and so did the other gals at the LD
