Dear DPSers
I have been using Outlook Express for email for well over 12
months and am aware of its shortcomings, like no indication on an
in coming email that youve replied to it. It can be unstable and
emails can be lost and weird things like for the past 6 months it
wont print . Any message I wanted to print I save to desktop as a
.txt file. This is probably better as its rare that I want to
print the complete email
Its big plus is how it treats lists received as a digest as each
message has its

Some of the best maps available come from two sources:
1. NRMA/RACV tourist maps for particular areas - can cover an area in great
detail, and they are free to members.
2. CMA topographical maps - scale 1:50000. Excellent for very precise
detail, down to individual properties. Available from larger newsagents,
bookshops, outdoor shops, NPWS shops, or the Lands
Hi,
I am researching my ancestors in the Richmond/Pitt Town/Windsor district and I am aware that transcripts have been produced for the Pitt Town Cemetery and that at St. Matthew's in Windsor, however I do not have access to these records.
Several of my ancestors were buried in these cemeteries (and possibly others as well). I would like to obtain information about grave locations an monumental inscriptions - if such exist - as well as other grave occupants.
The people whose graves I would like to loc
Hi Alf!
I wrote you a message some days ago, but it keeps coming back to me.
Have you changed your e-mail address?
The message was asking for help with the Paf4 Manual, which I had
successfully downloaded but was having trouble opening. To-day
however I finally managed to get it right, so no longer need to be rescued.
Thanks anyway for the help I'm sure you'd have given if the message had
reached you :-).
Best regards..............Edna

Betty,
The Shorter Oxford Dictionary has the following definition.
Pill. Also Pyll. var. of pool. A local name on both sides of the Bristol
Channel, in Cornwall etc. for a tidal creek on the coast, or a pool in a
creek, etc.

Peter.
Hi Alf an' all
The interesting thing here is that not only that it works OK, but that
when you look at the URLs etc afterwards that the OS system appears to
be using Multimap: eg if you input Murcott, a small village in
Oxfordshire the URL is:
http://www.multimap.com/os/browse.cgi?place=Murcott,+OXFORDSHIRE&db=gb_gaz&scale=70000&X=458610&Y=215860
So you best option might be to go to:
http://uk8.multimap.com/map/places.cgi
or even:
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/
if you are having problems with the OS si
Thanks you to all the subscribers who thanked ME for producing such a great

Each newsletter is produced by the team at the Registry, and I just get a

For those of you who included specific questions in your messages to me,

Happy New Year to listers on all platforms! And a special thanks to John

I tend to use the husband's number for the children, because I first
started using the system to be in line with a cousin who has a one-name
study and that was what he did, but I do make a note of the mother's number
my notes and use it when it suits my purposes. Legacy seems to use the
male line.

Is there an established convention for assigning Henry numbers to the
offspring of cousins that marry, when the wife has a 'lower' number than the

We have a Priscilla Worfolk 1.2.1 who married Abraham Worfolk 1.5.12. Should

One logic says follow the lower number, another logic says follow the
husband's line. Which is the more logical logic?
