Hi List
Wondering if anyone on the list would know where someone who died in
1929 and had lived at Rose Bay is likely to have been buried, and the
location of the likely records.

Hi List, I wonder if anyone could tell me where to look for information the location of a Baptist church in Castlereagh street in Sydney, built in the 1860's , probably not there now, an ancestor John Bunyan McCure founded and preached in this particular baptist church.

Hello Everyone
After a titanic struggle, we have finally managed to post the photos of the
last DPS Christmas Bash.
There was also the question of obtaining permission to print from certain
party goers but in the end, my wife agreed for her image to be seen - talk
about being precious!
Just kidding folks, the photographic evidence is at:

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for someone that may be able to help me look up 1 birth in
the St Catherines House index please. I am hoping that someone may be going
to SAG or a large library. I won't be down that way for months yet.
I am after the birth of an Alfred DORNEY. He was baptised 11/11/1838 so
would most likely be in the last quarter, or the one before it. He was in
Brighton Sussex Area of England.
Thanks in advance. This one certificate may solve years of confusion.
Kind Regards, Tracey.

I am trying to find all the missing Nolan family as I would like to enter our family into the Victorial First Families book. Our first family are James Nolan and his wife Rose O'Brien. Hoping all the Nolans come out of the woodwork. Happy searching Eunice
I live in England and amongst some old family photos I've found one of a
family group which I can't identify, but seems to have been taken in
Sydney - the harbour bridge is in the background.
Can anyone suggest a way it which I might be able to identify the
people? Here in England local newspapers will often publish such
pictures. Is there a newspaper in Sydney that might do so?
Thanks for any help or advice you might offer.

Hello Colin
Good luck with your research.
My wife is a descendant of HUGHES. Three Hughes brothers came to Australia
in the early 1850's. Some descendants in Australia bear the surname BYE.
Do you know of any connection please? If so I have a lot of information.
Best wishes, Ron Jones
