Family stories repeat that he came from Dunton, Essex, England. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Christiana m. Jessie Lee Tibbetts 4/9/1818 by Abel Bake Justice of the Peace New Sharon, Lincoln, ME. Both listed as residents. Neither were born there but out on the coast. She died Brownville, Piscataquis, ME 7/30/1888. Headstone reads age 92 years 8 mo & 15 days at death. Any paper record went up in flames in early 1900's Brownville fire. They did migrate there from Massachusetts and there were several that migrated West to Illinois.
