Dear List
I would be very grateful if anybody could help find the baptisms of the first
two daughters of
Joseph PACE and Mary ( nee ROWNTREE ).
The time scale would be 1792 - 1798 and in view of information I already have
it is almost certain that they would have baptised at St Peter's Church,
Monkwearmouth.
The subsequent children born to Joseph and Mary were
Sarah PACE ( 1799), Thomas PACE (1802), Joseph PACE (1804), Jane PACE
(1807), Robert PACE (1809) and Isabella PACE (1813)

You are not alone. We have had several similar reports in the last 48 hours. When I left work earlier we were still investigating, but our suspicion is that you have a worm type virus.
Can you confirm you are using Internet Explorer, the Version, and it's cipher strength? Go to Help, then about Internet Explorer, and it should tell you. HOWEVER, many sufferers tell us the details

www.angelfire.com/de/BobSanders/81Intro.html
It is one of those sites which has a lot of annoying "pop-up" advertising, which you have to keep zapping, however the search engine is good. I found a William Henry Anthony, age 30, a Carpenter's Mate on HMS Implacable, for instance. Just put Anthony in the Search box and check the many pages that will show "Anthony".
They are not all surnames but you can soon sort that out.
I found this by going to Googl

Hi Listers
I am thrilled to have finally found some information on my grandfather BACON Robert George, I have just received his marriage certificate from www.durham.gov.uk after seeing the web site in one of your messages. He was born in 1866 but I cannot find where, I thought he was also from Auckland where my grandmother was from but it does not seem like it. Are there any ideas where else I can look. He was living at Witton Park when he married, was a coal miner and his father was a General Dealer not s

Thanks, Stan. Your reply prompted me to realise that I could answer my own
question so I did a search for surname BELL, 1913 to 1920. Unfortunately,
names of spouses and mothers weren't included in any of results.
I'm not sure who to write to to ask if this will change, but I've sent a
note to the Freebmd administration address. Hope I get a reply and that
it's positive.

Hello list
I have Fexton entered as the occupation of one of my relatives from the 1901
census. My husband tells me that it is likely Sexton. Can anyone confirm
this?
Also, I have a 14 year old relative ( in 1901) that is listed as a school
teacher. Is it possible she could have been teaching school at that age?
Thanks in advance

I take it that I should read 1971 as 1871 which is an excellent find.
Thanks!
Any sign of John Udall in port. In 1881 we found him in Seaham harbour.
