I am looking for additional information on the Van Eps family. I have three
lines of descent. I go Jan Dirkse Van Eps and Maratie Damen ( does anyone
know if he ever actually go here or just his widow?). Then through Johannes
and his wife Elisabeth Janse Douwe. Three times.. Jan Baptist, Elizabeth
and Maria. I am interested especially in Elizabeth Janse Douwe. The age
numbers just do not add up for her to be the daughter of Janse Douwe.
Possibly a granddaughter. Any information or clues appreicated.

I am interested in corresponding and exchanging information with anyone who
is researching the Pearsall family. From what I know the family lived in or
around Long Island. The father, Uriah would have been born in the mid
1700's. Eventually the family moved to Prince Edward County, Ontario.

Hello,
This note is just to let you know that we have a homepage about Ottawa
County, Michigan --> the city of HOLLAND was founded in 1847 by Dutch
settlers. To this day, a large proportion of its population is of Dutch
descent, so Dutch resources are important here. If you have a Homepage
with Dutch Genealogy or History, please consider allowing us to create a
link.

We also have an Ottawa County Genealogy Newsgroup. This is a (polite)

I have seen a ton of questions on all of the mail lists I am on lately
about how to obtain a birth/death/or other certificate from a certain
county. If you go to the following address:

you will get instructions on how to obtain vital records for any
state/county in the USA, it's a fantastic site!
