As the list is very quiet I thought some of you might be interested in some of the spelling variations that I have found of the Earwaker name over the years, including errors in transcribing from other documents.
Here are a few:-
Earicker, Earmaker, Earnworker, Earwacker, Earwater. Awaker, Earwicr, Earniskar, Eddiker, Egewicke, Hedicker, Carwaker.
I have forty variations listed, and I often wonder how many P.R. entries have been unrecognised because of strange spellings.
