The family of Jesse B. Wyatt and wife Mary (Callaway) was on the 1870 San Augustine Co. Texas. They were probably somewhere in East Texas in 1860, as when Jesse's father (Samuel Wyatt, d. 1861 Dallas Co. Ar) died, his estate papers mentioned "Jesse" of Orange Co. Texas. I am searching for descendants or any information regarding a Texana "Missouri" COLDIRON who married William JONES. Missouri's nickname was Zudie. They moved from Madison County, Texas to "somewhere on the Texas Plains". I do not have dates, however Missouri or Zudie was born about 1875, probably Limestone Co, however not sure on that. My wife's father, TILFORD A. JETER, died in Houston, Harris Co. Oct. 14, 1944. My wife remembers little about her father. We believe that there may be half-siblings from 2 previous marriages. All would be in their 70's now. Does anyone have any knowledge of or connection with this family? We have been told that Mr. Jeter is buried in the COTTON GIN CEMETERY between Teague and Mexia.
