Hello list,
My sister-in-law and I have been going over Rhoday Eaves will and have a
question. Does anyone out there know if Honor was Rhoday's sister or
daughter? Thanks.

In the Feb. 1 issue of The Old Tryon County NC Gen. Soc. bulletin, there is
information about a man named Bayles Eaves.
"Petition on Behalf of Bayles Eaves", 1821-24. He had been convicted of
mayhem "in biting off a small part of the ear of one John Vicars." The
petitioners were hoping to get him released.
My question is: who is this Bayles Eaves and how does he fit into the Eaves
family of Rutherford County?
