Cathy, I don't know how much you paid, but from what I can tell on the website, you got ripped off. Take a look at the Eller Family Association page http://www.eller.org and if you paid much more than that, I'd send your copy back, get your money back, and order a copy from EFA. A suggestion for the

Eva Eller was born September 1884, and Charles Reese was born about 1877 to Elmer and Rachel Reese/Rease in Minnesota. Charles and Eva had one son that I know of...his name was Verne or Verna and was 11 yrs. old at the time of the 1920 census in Oklahoma.
Anyone interested in these people,

If this is the same Leona, she would have lived in the DC area in 1962. May have been married to a Vernon Short from VA. If it is the same Leona, this will be quite a shock to your family. I have been looking for her for a long time.

go to http://www.eller.org (the website for the Eller Family Association). They have links for purchasing their books. There is an address where you can contact them about ordering, or you can email them. Good luck all!
Hi all! Thanks to Ginette, we now have Ellers in the 1860 OH census on the
site!

Hi all! The Eller website is up! There are a few changes, well, mainly one,
and that is I am not including the old Eller Family Association pages on the
new site. Instead, there is now a link to the societies website and you can
access it there.

Hi all! A message, via the the message boards, has been circulating some of
these list about the dog tags website of American GIs during Vietnam. First,
this site does appear to be legitimate, (www.founddogtags.com), but I wanted to
let everyone know that cities in Vietnam are notorious for selling things that
supposedly belonged to American GI's. These guys with the website are not
selling anything, and I personally like what they are trying to do, but just be
warned that most of them, if not all, are p
Hello all! I'm sure that by now, everyone on the list (with the exception of
the newbies) is familiar with my site, the genealogy depository on Rootsweb
(see my signature below). I am now looking into a web host to host this site
and have it's own domain seperate from Rootsweb. There will also be a few
other pages on the site of mine for my ALHN county pages in NC. Although I
like Rootsweb, I've been wanting the site to have it's own domain name and also
looking to protect the information on the site si
Hello all! This is just to let you know we have a new website. Please be
aware that the site will not be up for at least 2-3 weeks. The new
domain/address is: http://www.gendepository.com Only one person made any
suggestions, and unfortunately, none of them were available. She also made a
good point that the full "www.genealogydepository.com" was lengthy so I
shortened it just a little the best I could. Now, once the pages are up and
running, I will let everyone know.

Hi all! Inspiration hit me just now! As you know, the new website will be up
and running in about a month. In the meantime, I just thought of something
that I would love to add to the page, but I need all your help. If you're
interested and/or have the time, why not write up your family history. Maybe a
personal story you've heard about one of your ancestors (surnames relating to
Barringer, Black, Bradford, Coventry, Eller, Hackett, Hupp, or Kern) or just a
run down of who your ancestors (of those surn
Hi all. Looks like I need to give some guidelines on how to submit
information.
1. I can't post copyrighted material unless you hold the copyright or you
received permission from the copyright holder (of which I need to get a copy of
the written permission for legal purposes). What I suggest if you want to
submit information that has been copyrighted, like in a book, is to take what
is relevant to the site and put it in your own words and then let me know where
the info came from. What I can then do
Ok, apparently there has been a misunderstanding. I am not talking about
moving the lists. They will stay put. I'm only talking about my website which
is currently hosted on Rootsweb. I can't really discuss my reasons for wanting
to create my own domain on this list, but if your curious, send me an email and
I'll explain the move, or rather the need to move, in more detail. Suffice it
to say the main reason for the move off of Rootsweb is to protect information
on the site that was submitted to me by o
