I am wondering if your joseph could be a shirttail relative. I and an ancester - Elizabeth Ellers b:1829 in Suedlohn, Westphalen, Germany (Prussia). She came to America with her 2 brothers prior to 1862. Arrived in St. Louis and came up river to Quincy, IL. Any possible connection? Could they be brother and sister?

I dont have any dates. That as much info as I can get from my aunts. I do know that she lived on the reservation and her father was the medicine man. She left the reservation, a husband and child. That is about all I know at this time. If I had to guess a date I would say the late 1800's or early 1900's. Do you think you may have more information?

Looking for information on the Harvey Eller (m. Latitia Stipp) / Joseph Eller (m. Rachel Casey). Harvey was born about 1820 in Hamilton Co, IN, but showed up by 1870 in the MO census in Vernon Co, MO. Harvey is my g-g-grandfather and Joseph is my g-g-g-grandfather. There are references to Harvey Eller and Stipp on these pages.
