For Eller searchers searching in NC or VA, I suggest you look for a copy of
the book, either to purchase or through inter library loan, called "George
Michael Eller and Descendants of His in America" by James W. Hook c. 1957 or
so. I know that the Library of Congress has this book on hand. Good luck.

First off, let me say I don't have these addresses myself, but here is an
excellent homepage for people who want to request vital records
(birth/death/marriage/divorce) but don't know the address. Also, if you
know the town, but not the county, there is a link for that, just enter the
name of the town and state it's in and it will tell you the county (I tried
it, it REALLY works!). Hopes this helps out.

I just want to say first off, I don't normally send out these warnings, but
this is a scam that HAS been verified by AT&T and this does happen. It
could cost you a lot of money if this happens to you so do yourself a favor
and read this so you'll know ahead of time. Thanks -Erin

Hello,
This message is in regard to your inquiry of 10 Feb 1998 concerning your
lineage from John Eller and Susannah Kerns and their son Simeon Eller. I
received a letter
from Rose (Eller) Ellis 27 Dec 1996 that explained her lineage, which
incidently
seems to coincide with your own. Her lineage is as follows:
Rose Ellen Eller, Thomas Cleveland Eller Sr, Troy Albert Eller Sr,
Thomas Cleveland Eller, Anderson Eller, Simeon Eller, John Eller, Peter Eller,
George Michael Eller. Each generation from John to

Hello everyone. First off, let me start by thanking those that have sent
their lines to the list, I appreciate it. I wrote some email to the
listowner list about how I could get my lists to be more active, for them to
give me some ideas on what can be done. I got one reply back that sounded
like a good idea and I would like to give it a try. Basically what it will
amount to is every few days, I will send a common name from each list, or
place, that appears in more than one message. Then, your job is to
Okay everyone, new word(s): Wilkes County, so start listing your Eller
ancestors in Wilkes County* ancestors.
NOTE: I there is a Wilkes County in NC and in GA and I don't know where
else. We'll let this be ALL Wilkes Counties
Reminders:
After last week, I have found people do not know where to send mail and such
so here are reminders
1. do NOT send messages to me that are meant for the list, send them to
ELLER-L@rootsweb.com
2. do NOT assume that just because you send it to the Black list for
