I have an Alfred P. Eller, b. 1843 (in Watauga County, NC) and his son, Alfred L. Eller, b. July 1891. I have no more info on Alfreds' line... My line includes James Frank Eller, Alfred P. Eller's brother. They are the children of Priscilla Lucretia Elller (unwed). Her parents are Conrod Eller and Mary Eller. The line goes like this:
CONROD ELLER LINE:

Diane, Im sorry... new email address. I was just reviewing threads and see where we left off. Please write if I can help in anyway, as John Eller was an elusive one.
I'm also researching Eller in Staunton, IL, Macoupin County. Andrew Eller married Martha Jane Warrick in Jefferson County in 1865 and moved to Staunton, IL. Their daughter Mary Matilda Eller married Charles Lenard/Leonard. Andrew Eller's father was Elic Eller and he also lived in Mt. Vernon, Jefferson County. Elic was in the 1860 census. I'm trying to find brothers or sisters of Andrew Eller. I don't know if Andrew and Martha had more than one child. Also Charles Lenard/Leonard's brother Dock Leonar

I'm grateful for any help and am willing to share the info I have on the Ellers. Thanks! Sharyn

Today I decided since I hear from so many researchers looking for Eller and related information, and knowing how difficult it is to locate information on the net, to start up a Eller Web Ring. Hopefully this will assist everyone in finding material and to share material. A sort of Eller central source. Who you be interested in joining the ring? Do you know any other Eller or related webpage authors who would be interested? I hope to gain enough members in the ring to get more information out to s

Don't confuse your Caspar with the Casper, father of early immigrants (1740's), John Jacob Eller, John Melchoir Eller, Henry Eller and Christian Eller. This Casper is also thought by some to be the father of George Michael Eller.

I recently received some family history items from a relative. Included was
a very, very old and fragile Bible page (torn from the Bible) with Eller
family dates. I don't know for sure who was the original owner of the
Bible, but I believe it to be from Jacob Eller, Jr., husband of Elizabeth
Grimes. This Jacob was the son of Jacob Eller, Sr., and Margareth
Willjard/Williard, and the grandson of Henry Eller, Sr. and Elizabeth
Bigler. Here is the transcription, as well as I can read it (I will let

I found out a couple of days ago that any message posted on the RootsWeb
"Eller" Message Board shows up on this mail list too. (I posted a message
both places and it was here twice)
If you have trouble remembering what the thread is about, it might be that
it came from the Message board.
You can check it out at:

Change the "Listed By:" box to "Threaded(expanded)" to make it easy to
browse through the messages.
