1. [ELLER-L] word of the week....Military...need your help! [1]
Hello everyone! I have seriously been working my butt off all weekend on the rootsweb homepage. I have spent a total of about 20 hours on Sat. and Sun working on it and now all day today (not counted in the 20 hours). I was going through the DAR lineage books on the ancestry homepage (http://www.ancestry.com/ancestry/search.asp) and I got a great idea for a new addition to the homepage...Military ancestors with the surnames of my lists (below). Now, i have some info on Rev. war Bradfords, but that

After much waiting, I FINALLY have the 1790 census info on the Eller surname up on my rootsweb page below. These are all of the Eller's I have been able to find in the 1790 census for every state. I don't have any other info on the Eller surname in the census for other years as of yet. If you do, email me the info and I will put it on a page. Most of the Eller's, as expected, are from NC, and ALL of them in NC are from the same county. On the homepage, i have the county as being Rowan, but I wou

14. [ELLER-L] word of the week...common names [1]
NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE IN ITS ENTIRITY!!! This week's phrase is "uncommon common name" :) What this means is in your line, if you have found any strange (or not so strange) names the occur often, post it to the list. I don't necessarily mean names like "John" or "William" (which is probably the most common male COVENTRY name), but if there are maybe four out of 7 people in your line named "Ezekiel" or "Jabez" (which is one in my Kendall line), then post those. It IS ok if you want to post
15. [ELLER-L] Eller Family Association [1]
Re: your exchanges with Erin through ELLER-L@rootsweb.com The Eller Family Association (begun in 1987) has many members from the Geo Michael Eller line who have compiled and published much information in the Association's Newsletter: THE ELLER CHRONICLES (4 issues each year since the first in 1987. Anyone interested in Eller genealogy will find membership in this active association is most rewarding. They have held national Eller conferences each two years since the first was held in 1989. 16. [ELLER-L] update for the word of the week [1]
Hello lists. I have seen some of the posts so far on the "uncommon common" names and I think some people have misunderstood what it is I was trying to get people to post. I didn't mean for you to post your most uncommon name, I was trying to get people (which most of you have basically so far) to post uncommon names that reoccur in your lines. Like the example I used with Jabez, which is not that common, the line started out with Jabez, his son was also Jabez(2), and the grandson of Jabez(2) was a
17. [ELLER-L] George Michael Eller Book [1]
I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me how to get a hold of a copy of the book "George Michael Eller" by James W. Hook. Or how to go about joining the Eller Family Association? Thanks, Ginette

20. [ELLER-L] double message problem [1]
>Hello, Erin! I'm receiving double messages from our ELLER list. >Should I "Unsubscribe" once - and see what happens? Grateful for all >you do...Julie You know Julie, I've been having the exact same problem myself and I'm not sure what is going on, but I'm pretty sure if you were to unsub once, you wouldn't get ANY mail. For the time being, i'd suggest to just stay subbed and trash the 2nd copy and I will do my best to find out what is going on. I'm pretty sure it's a bug in the rootsweb system
21. [ELLER-L] oops, got the link up for the census info [1]
Hello everyone. I sent a message yesterday about the Eller census info FINALLY being up on the homepage, but I forgot to update the main census page. I just did that today, so NOW if you go to the rootsweb page below, click on the census from the menu it will take you to a list, just click on the 1790 Eller and it will take you there. If you want, you can also go straight there by going to http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~kshai/1790eller.htm Good luck and sorry about the confusion:) Erin Bradford e
