Robert, I have Joseph Phillips and Marthal Trevena; however, I'm sorry I don't have any of the information you are looking for. Martha's parents were William Trevena and Elizabeth James. Martha had 8 siblings ~ it's the Trevena and James families that I am researching. 7. [REDRUTH] Church records online [1]
When I started my family research, I put the data, as I found it, into my Family Tree Maker program without sourcing where I found my data. So, almost 20 years later, I find myself backtracking though my files and notebooks looking for where I got some of my information. Well, yesterday I started sourcing my Phillips tree. They originated in Redruth, moved to Swansea, Wales and then some went to New Zealand, some to Australia and my branch came to the United States. Anyhow searching around the web
8. [REDRUTH] Joseph Jasper [1]
I'm looking for information on one Joseph Jasper, b. Feb 28, 1889. Just heard today from a cousin who's mother told her her dad, Joseph, came from Redruth, Cornwall, England. I don't know Joseph's parents' names, whether Joseph had any siblings he left in England, etc. Joseph Jasper emigrated to the U.S., to Ramsay, Michigan and married Annie James on April 24, 1915. All I'd ever known was that he was from Cornwall. Thank you. Ardith Laine alaine3@comcast.net -- Ardie alaine3@comcast.net
