Dear Sheila,
Sampson and Elizabeth nee Parnell were from Perranzabuloe. Mary Jane
Docking, the first wife died at Down Lane Newlyn East in June 1874 and
Sampson then moved back to Perranzabuloe where he was in 1881. By 1891 he
was in St Columb Minor. I am sending you what I have on the family direct
as the list does not accept attachments.
Regards,
Susan in Wadebridge

I am looking for anyone who is a member of the extended family of Sampson
Roberts and his 1st wife Mary Jane Docking and 2nd wife Elizabeth Parnell.
Some of the family is buried at St. Newlyn East and they lived in St. Columb
where some of their 13 children attended St. Columb School. In fact one Son
William died at school in 1894 after he foolish swallowed a stone.
Sheila

Hi
According to the St Agnes Parish Register, my ggg-grandfather WILLIAM STEPHENS "of St Columb Major" married MARY DALE in St Agnes, Cornwall 23 Jan 1797 "by Licence".
I haven't been able to track the parents of William and I wondered if the information on the Marriage Licence might help.
Does anyone know where these are located (if they even still exist) and how to access them from Australia?
Regards

Good job. Thanks, Phil!
