I noticed an unusual entry in the Aycliffe, Co. Durham, Parish Baptism
records for l826. Following details given:
Nov 28th l826
Elizabeth, illegitimate daughter of Jonathan BLAND, Hurworth, Weaver
and Dorothy GRAHAM, Aycliffe, Spinster.
Thought this might help someone researching Elizabeth...unusual to have
both parents' details, isn't it!
I have connections to the following Aycliffe families: HUTCHINSON,
GRAHAM, SIMPSON , ETHERINGTON, BROWN, BRADLEY, NELSON, CLARKSON, GRAY
and ELDER.

Hi Kathryn,
There are so many BARKER familes. I have
collateral lines that are mostly NRY and
south Co. Durham. Can you get a birth
cert. for Eva May? The marriage cert. should
also have her parents' names.
The latest male BARKERs I have were born between
1888and 1898 at Danby at Castleton or Little Ayton
Hall. They are Robert, b. 1888; John Henry, b. 1889:
Thomas Edward, b. 1894 (A cousin gave me his descendent
information and Eva Mae is not one of them.); Arthur William,
b.1896; and Richard, b.1898.

It will start to upload, just click on yes and leave it to go ahead.
It worked for me.

Sorry, sent the DURHAM-NUMB interest list earlier. Some overlaps, but also
some differences. The following was ommitted:
SAYER of the Manors of Worsall and Preston and the Friarage, Yarm on Teeside,
and later the Manors of Colburne and Marrick (1300-1700), latterly a recusant
family appearing often Feet of Fines and Recusancy records.
Also any information about any of these manors. Dave Moore, Webster, New York

This a long shot .... but does itring a bell with anyone?? .... My Great Uncle Joe Richardson - born 1913 - remembers having an Auntie Ena Yorke (married name) who moved to near Keithley in Yorkshire. Joe remembers they lived at 44 Brufield Terrace, Selsden, about one mile outside Keightley. He cannot remember whether she was a sister of his father (and my Gt Grandfather), Robert Richardson or his mother, Alice Elizabeth Jones.
Joe remembers that Ena had three daughters:
1. Rena Yorke who married Charles
