Family history researchers, who are often addicted to their daily
"fix" of mail from their favourite RootsWeb lists, began sending e-mails
to their lists in an attempt to ascertain whether or not the lists were
working, for some, alarm set in.
Don't panic if RootsWeb's list mail doesn't appear to be reaching your
mailbox as it normally should. Instead, do the following:
1. Check the HelpDesk's yellow announcement box for news of any
technical problems at RootsWeb or with your ISP's delivery of list mail

E-MAIL COPYRIGHT
Recently in the Rootsweb magazine there appeared a notice concerning mailing
list netiquette and the 'golden rule' of e-mail content written by another
person/s that a subscriber posts to the list from another list or one
received privately. What this is, is a breach of that persons copyright if
you have first not sought their permission to forward it to the list.

messages for a time? You might decide to use an auto responder to answer
your incoming messages while you are gone. While, this might work for
business correspondence, don't forget your genealogy mailing lists.
