Hi folks - further to our last email, we omitted to acknowledge that the Old
Basing transcriptions once again came from the pen of Marie.
Linda & Tony Knight
Having spotted a post on the Linton, Cambs, Roots Web messages, I
discovered a similar volume on Hampshire. Of particular interest were :
The hundred of Ringwood Parishes - Harbridge , Ringwood
New Forest hundred Parishes - Boldre - Bramshaw - Brockenhurst -
Linwood - Lyndhurst - Minstead
The borough of Lymington
The liberty of Beaulieu
The liberty of Dibden
http://www.british-history.ac.uk/source.aspx?pubid=525
Covers the areas around the northern edge of the county, from Thorngate
and Andover hundre
Thanks for that Stephen but don't think he's mine.

Anyone trying to access the site in the last 24 hours may get an error
message and be diverted to the web Mania web site.
The reason for this is that we have a 12Gb data transfer allowance per month
and this has been exceeded in January as a result of the 1000+ hits every
day.
Extra bandwidth has been purchased and the site should be restored very
shortly but please bear with us in the meantime.
We are looking at an alternative host when the ccount is due for renewal
next.
