Hi Christine, I'm just making contact with you at this stage as I am still not sure where my HILL ancetor was born. My Great grandmother was Elizabeth Hill and was born in Plymouth in 1853. I still have not sent for her birth certificate and until I do I cant be sure who her father was or where he came from. But I wouldn't discount anything at this stage. I dont even know her mothers maiden name, but I do know she came from Devon. I've an idea that Elizabeth's father was in Plymouth at the time of
