Hi Sherry, do you know if the father came from Wales???? Our Thomas Evans
came from Wales around 1830s. He settled in Cherokee Cty. SC, married and
raised 8 children. He had 2 brothers to follow but he never heard from

Do you have any info on a John Micajah EVANS? He was probably born between
1840-1860 somewhere in NC. He left Blowing Rock, NC, went to north GA (long
enough to meet and marry Lucy Leonora UNDERWOOD). He was in Cleburne Co.,
AL in 1879 when his son, Martin Luther EVANS was born. He supposedly went
back to the Blowing Rock area to work off and on over the course of the next
10-15 years.
I have been unable to find any information on John Micajah; he's such a
brick wall. I'd love to be able to

I am seeking any information on the William Austin Evans family who was
probably from Tennessee and later moved to Pulaski Co., or Greene Co., MO.
The information I have is William had brothers Albert & Alec and a sister
Nancy. They may have been more siblings. William was married to Sally
Frazier(Frasher) and when she died in MO William moved his family to Upshur
Co., TX, I don't know the exact year but think it was probably around 1897.

Hello,
Thanks to everyone who has written on this topic... without complaining.
In the welcome letter, I mention that people should not complain to the
list that a letter that someone has written, does not belong on the list,
that their letter is off-topic for the list. The footer is a reminder of
that message.
Overall the footers save a lot of trouble. We rarely have people writing
to the list to unsubscribe because the footers tell them how to do that.
Also the footers remind people to change the subj

My James had the look of being part Indian. Maybe he was not murdered after
all, but just ditched out of the new marriage. He was about six foot four
and weighted about 240 lbs. He was thirty three years old when he married
Etta May Breeden in 1910. I have a picture of him. Can't say if it fits or
not. Do you know his

Thanks for the quick answer. Noticed the footers had been improved. They
look good but still need the unsubscribe footer also. Thanks for your time

I am looking for information on James Evans (1859) who married an Ada. They
had 11 children: Myra, Myron, Lena, Rose, Minnie, Pearl, George, Arthur,
Fred, Alice, and Milton. I have very little information on the family. Myra
was my grandmother and she married Clyde Chase and lived in Ithaca, N.Y. Ada
was born in Caroline, NY so it is possible that the family resided there. I
would appreciate any help or leads as I've received zero in the past three
years. I do know that Myra supposedly went to

Hi Alan, I was referred to a UK Genealogist but he said there were no
records before 1837 so there wasn't anything he could do. He told me to
contact a General Geologist but i have not found one yet. We know Thomas
came over in early 1830s because he married and had his first child in 1837.
The 1850 census records for here says he was a farmer, but we have been told
that he was rich and owned lots of land. Evidently that was in Wales.

I collected my information on Benjamin (son of Robt and Elizabeth) from 2
sources
1) WWW.Familysearch.com
2) the Genealogical Dictionary of ME & NH by Noyes/Libby/Davis
As far as them having 2 Sarah's, WWW.Familysearch.com says there were 2
Sarah's and the Genealogical Dictionary of ME & NH by Noyes/Libby/Davis says
only one born in 1685. I will continue looking at other sources and see
what they tell me.
Are there any connections between your research and mine?

only have this as a significant part of history to help them family
