"I received a very old photo from a lady by the name of Jan Huskisson of Pheonix, Arizona, USA.
Ms Huskisson's hobby includes combing antique stores for old photos. She has asked that I send
this "find" of hers off to those on this list in an effort to find this young lad's family.
On the back of the photo, someone has wrote "Ed Farrell", the photo was taken in Niagara Falls, New York."
I had enclosed the scanned photo but it came back rej
Hello all--
I am searching for ancestors of my 4g-grandfather Josiah Dalbey b.
1/30/1796 in New Jersey. He married Ruth Poe, daughter of Andrew Poe and
Elizabeth Rutan 1/6/1818 in Pennsylvania. He died 12/9/ 1887 in Mercer
Cnty., Pennsylvania. However, for many years he had a farm in Coitsville,
Mahoning Cnty., Ohio.
Josiah and Ruth had at least four children: John C.--b. 10/6/1818;
Elizabeth--b. 11/9/1820; Andrew Poe--b. 4/14/1823; and Hiram (he took over
the Ohio farm)--b. 8/15/26.

Hoping someone can help me. I am trying to locate the parents/siblings of
Milton Farrell. He was born in Virginia in 1823 - came to California 1849 -
Married Margaret Jane Dalton Hill in 1873 - they had 11 children and she had 3
from first marriage. I've been told he left a big family - weeping and crying
on the plantation! But of course as of yet, no confirmation. His brother was
Richard Farrell, killed in battle of Little Big Horn.
Sound familiar to anyone - please EMail RHiggens@AOL.com
Just beginning a search on my mother's side.
My mother, Agnes Margaret Farrell, or O'Farrell,
was born in 1889 in Brooklyn, NY, U.S.A.,
near "59th and 7th Street," the daughter of
Edward Farrell, or O'Farrell, and Laura Flynn.
Edward Farrell was said to have had a theater in
Brooklyn, and they both acted in it. That's all
I know at this time.
Any information on Edward Farrell, or O'Farrell,
and his parents would be greatly appreciated.

in TN.

William Ferrell came to Halifax County, Virginia, bought land on Birch Creek
adjacent to John Martin and married John's daughter, Frances Martin, August
16, 1787. Both William and Frances are believed to have died in the 1820's
and are believed buried at "Carlbrook" their home. Any information on
Wiliam's family or the family of William and Frances would be appreciated.
Will share info and answer queries in a timely fashion.
My ggggrandmother was Kit/Kate Farrell. A family chart has her coming from
Corgheen. I have found no such place in Ireland. Kit married Richard Roche

Mitchelstown.
Their children were named
1. Will/William Roche who married Nancy/Ann Gallagher
2. Mary Roche who married Stanton and settled in Australia

Does anyone know of a Miss Wilson, born ca 1875-1880, who married a Mr
Farrell and was living in Springfield, MA in Oct 1904?
I'm trying to identify my great-grandfather's sister. Mrs Sara Wilson (my
gg-grandmother) had 4 children - Robert (b ca 1875), Moses (b 1876),
William (b ca 1878) & an unnamed daughter. I know that the brothers were
born in Armagh, Ireland, so I assume that their sister was too. Miss
Wilson married a Mr Farrell & was living in Springfield, MA in Oct 1904

William Ferrell (married Frances Martin) was the son of James Ferrell and
probably James's first wife, Millicent (Edwards?). James had 18 children
listed when his estate was settled, so there is a large group. The estate
settlement is in the VA Archives.
Another son was James Ferrell Jr who married Jemima Hutcheson. This is
my husband's line. I have not found their graves, but the cemetery to which
you referred is said to have many graves whose markers have been lost.
I have more on this fami
