Greetings All.
Sometime next week I hope to have a day or two to spend in Alachua. One of
my wife's great great grandfathers is suppose to be buried in Saluda
Cemetery in Orange Heights. I've been unable to locate using the USGS server
or any map server. Anyone know where this cemetery is?
Thanks,

Hi list... The list of Volunteers is growing. We now have 9
Alachua County Cemeteries online with another 7 being worked
on. If you want to help, just let me know.
BTW... These lists are from 1966-68. It would be great if
we could find volunteers to take the DAR listings to the
various cemeteries and update them. I'll volunteer for
Saluda (Orange Heights). Probably won't be this weekend,
but I'll get to it.

were written awhile back, most of these cemeteries have had
additions since that time... It would be nice if someone

Jim,
I will be visiting the Townsend Cemetery near Hawthorne (on State Rd. 20
from Vol. I) within the next month, so I volunteer for that one. I don't
have easy access to the books that you and your team are transcribing, but
I can send along my transcription to be verified against the book's when
your team is ready to list that cemetery. Would that be ok? Or if someone
could photocopy that listing for me, I could verify it, add to it as
necessary, and submit it to the team for inclusion. Just let me k
