The Southern Genealogist's Exchange Society will hold a GENEALOGY WORKSHOP on Saturday, November 1, 2003, in Jacksonville, Florida. There will be two speakers, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Linda Ellwood will lead a workshop on researching in Florida 1763 - 1821, with emphases on East Florida Papers, Florida Archives, Florida Land Office. Linda Rosenblatt will conduct a workshop on military research on the southeast coast, and will include a Civil War portrayal of the widow Ann Dugger.

Hodges in the 1900 thru 1930 census.....Willis A. was born 18 Nov 1849
in Charlton Co, Ga and died 29 May 1942 in Duval Co, FL. Catherine was
born May 1872 and died Oct 1944 in Duval Co, FL. He married Catherine
abt 1890 in Baker Co, FL. From what info I was able to find on
familysearch.org it appears that at certain times when their children
were born, they were living in Baker Co, FL then moved to Crawford,

I am researching the Yarbrough(Yarborough) Family that lived in Charlton
Co, GA and some moved to Baker County, FL....
They are the children of John W. Yarbrough (1887-1883) and Anna Hodges
(1843-1880)
I am looking for information on the children who are:
Mahalie (Mahalia) Yarbrough who married James Raulerson (did they move
to FL or stay in GA?)
Emily (1870-1926) married Jess Sapp
Caroline (1867-1931) married John J. Crawford
John (1871-1931) married Martha Raulerson
Dennis D. (1875-1911) married
Does anyone know anything about Vastine John Valentine? He moved from
S.C. to Fla. in the 1860's with his Father and other family members. He
was born in the 1840's or 50's. It is thought that he resided in
Columbia Co. or Baker Co. in the vicinity of Olustee or Lulu.
