1. Re: [FLHILLSB] WW1 DRAFT REGISTRATION CARDS- [1]
I might be mistaken, but I thought a simple index of the WWI draft cards for Florida already was online someplace. No, not the digitized copies, but a simple index of names and counties. Check rootsweb and/or use a search engine to see if you can find it someplace else. There was an Italian Club ... may still be for all I know ... that was very popular in Tampa for a long time. This may be what it is. Could be all the old club data such as membership lists, parties that were held there, if they paid for funerals for members, if there was a small cemetery that had some kind of relation to the Club, etc. Kathy in FL mamkmm2@prodigy.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg And Winnette" To: Sent: Thursday, July 18, 2002 3:

13. Re: [FLHILLSB] Bertie Matcovich [1]
I looked in the latest white pages for any Matcovich's and not one was listed ... There are a ton of Spencers ... There are a few older white pages at the Main Library ... and USF has a few online files you might find useful. You might be able to find something in the Tampa Tribune index, but not all marriages appear in the newspaper these days ... so probably not back then either. Are you sure that she remained in Tampa? Are you sure that she married shortly after leaving highschool? Kathy in FL
