I might be mistaken, but I thought a simple index of the WWI draft cards for
Florida already was online someplace. No, not the digitized copies, but a
simple index of names and counties.
Check rootsweb and/or use a search engine to see if you can find it
someplace else.

Need information about Lawrence Brevard Norris born about 1887 in Mayport, FL
He was in the 1920 Hillsborough County, FL census with wife Josie and son
L.B. Jr.
Lawrence Brevard Norris, Jr. born about 1917. I have been told that this
family moved to Mulberry, FL where they owned a lumber company. Lawrence B.
Norris, Sr. could be the son of Cavis / Caius S. Norris and Fannie Floyd.
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Grace Patterson

It sound like there was a Cemetery Book with that name. Then I thought
maybe they sponsored the book or had their own cemetery or something.
Never know till you ask.
Thanks, Winnette

I'm looking for a Bertie Matcovich bn. probably in July 1929 in Key West.
Her mother was Irene Spencer and she had two brothers Gilbert and Marvin
Spencer.
They moved to Tampa sometime in the 30;s. Bertie would have graduated abt.
1947 and married abt. 1949 or 1950. I need to find a marriage license and
the name of the gentleman she married. It is the only way I can find her if
I know her married name.
She would be abt. 72 today if she is still living. I would appreciate any
help on this.

Hello Listers
I'm hoping someone can help locate an obit for me which I have found to be
on microfilm with the Tampa Tribune according to the THOR Database.
I'm looking for my uncle, Madison AVERY, age 34, who died March 15, 1937.
Location is under Death, P 2.
I would be most happy to compensate a volunteer for looking this up and
sending me a copy.
Thanks in advance,
Don Avery

Anyone have a clue what this is about. I found it in

You can look up the index online, then go to your local Family History Center (Latter Day Saints) and order a copy of the actual cards on microfilm for about $3.50. Depending on the county you may get all the surnames on one roll or it may be split up.
Good luck.

There was an Italian Club ... may still be for all I know ... that was very
popular in Tampa for a long time. This may be what it is. Could be all the
old club data such as membership lists, parties that were held there, if
they paid for funerals for members, if there was a small cemetery that had
some kind of relation to the Club, etc.

I looked in the latest white pages for any Matcovich's and not one was
listed ...
There are a ton of Spencers ...
There are a few older white pages at the Main Library ... and USF has a few
online files you might find useful.
You might be able to find something in the Tampa Tribune index, but not all
marriages appear in the newspaper these days ... so probably not back then
either.
Are you sure that she remained in Tampa? Are you sure that she married
shortly after leaving highschool?

The listing, which ran in The Tampa Tribune on July 16, 1972, is on microfilm at the main library in downtown Tampa and must be viewed to know the exact day of her death The newspaper section is: Deaths- page B11, also FL Deaths-page B11.
