Carol, I'm a Floyd researcher but not this line as far as I know. I do see a Manoah "Noah" Taylor born 1809 VA died 1864 Dunnville, KY married on 20 Aug 1839 in Russell Co KY a Nancy Jane Flanagan born 1811 Russell Co KY. Children were Henry born 25 Nov 1841, John 1842, Wm Sylvester 1846, elizabeth, Nancy Ellen, and Joseph. Is this your Nancy? If so can forward some information from other researchers on this line. Ellen, yes this is definitely my line. I think the maiden name of Flanagan was because a John Flanagan signed the marriage bond and that is usually the father of the bride. I am not sure there is any proof of this. I would be interested in the information from other researchers. Carol

Any information on maiden name of Nancy Jane Floyd. In Russell Co., Kentucky, she married Noah Taylor in 1839. She had Martha Ann, LaRue and Benjamin Floyd by first marriage to ???Floyd. She was my g.grandmother. My grandfather, Henry Taylor, b. 1840, was her first child with Noah Taylor.
