Can anyone help me with anyhting about George Washington Floyd, born in 1831 in TN and married in MS in 1850 to a Elvesa Brien? I would especially like to know who their children may have been. I am searching for information on the family of Louis B. and Lena _?_ Floyd. I found them on the soundex for 1910 in Amite Co, MS.. I could not find the film for the census, I looked at the university library in Hattiesburg and the local library where I live in Picayune MS, was missing both places. Damon, We seem to have two surnames in common and I wondered if there could be a link. (I had trouble getting to your "Marriages" page to check it out for myself.) These surnames are FLOYD and WEBB. I have good FLOYD information including a couple of photographs. I understand that my FLOYD line originated out of England, a division of that English surname LLOYD. I have been told of a Cherokee and/or Pocahontas Indian connection coming from my David C. Floyd born 1828 in Washington County,
