Confederate Armies - Florida and Arkansas by Stewart Sifakis, "One
specialized type of unit was organized for the Army: the Reserves,
created by the Confederate Congress on Feb. 17, 1864 when it
expanded conscription to include all white males between 17 and 50
years of age. Those under 18 and those over 45 were to be organized
in the Reserves, troops that did not have to serve beyond the

I am trying to find a connection for my brother in law. He works at Fish Memorial Hospital in Volusia County. I believe the hospital was endowed by a Bert Fish, perhaps an attorney. My brother in law's surname is also Fish. He thinks there might be a connection although he hales from New York state.
I know I can probably go to the Orlando Public Library and find info about Bert Fish, but thought I would try this list first.

Hello List, I am looking for information on Addie WALLACE. Addie was born
in Duluth, MN. 7/30/1874. She died in Daytona Beach in Feb. of 1970 at the
age of 95! Her parents were John J. Cameron and Permelia (Millie) Lyons
Cameron. I have sent to the library for a copy of her obit but it has been a
while and I have not heard from them. I have her death cert from FL. What I
am really looking for is the connection to her children and grandchildren. I
