Dr. Foster;
I'm researching a J. Thomas Foster who lived in Pickins County Alabama in the
middle to late 1800's. I do not have his wife, but children were: James
Curtis Foster, Lottie Foster, Lula M. Foster, and Janie Elizabeth Mae
Foster. Janie was born 8/30/1882. Janie is my wife's grandmother, and we
have been unable to trace this Foster line back beyond J. Thomas Foster. We
were wondering if you have any data on this Foster.
Thanks,
Norman L Griffith

Hi there!
Does anyone have a Jacob Foster in his family tree? He was born ca. 1844 in
Illinois and appears on the Iowa census in 1880 in Pilot Grove, Montgomery
County. He married Lucy, also born in Illinois. His parents were both born
in England and I have no names. They had two sons appearing on the 1880
census, Frank E. age 4 and Joseph age 2. Appreciate any help out there!
Thanks!

my Fosters were from the PA area and migrated to NW Territory. If you would like I would be happy to dig out the letters again and let you know what they say..... Linda
