White, published by The National Historical Publishing Company in 1991, has an entry on Erastus Foster which mentions along with the other children his son Orrin, born 8 October 1800. When and where was Laura Inez FOSTER born? You mentioned she came from Missouri. Our Mark & Delany/Delancy FOSTER were in Jackson Co, MO by 1827 (which the beginning of that area's settlement). I am researching William Foster (my ggrandfather). According to a bible record, he was born in 1812 in Memphis, TN. His father was born in VA and his mother in NC. He married Serena Reynolds in Union County, AR in 1844. He was in the Claiborne Parish, LA census in 1850 and moved to Texas in 1858. I have a good accounting of him from 1850 to the present, but would like to find his parents and siblings. Will be happy to share the info that I have. Bob Foster

My ggg-grandparents were William P. MOORE (1784 possibly VA -- 1825 IN) who married Elizabeth FOSTER on 9 Jul 1801 perhaps in KY. Elizabeth was born 10 May 1790 possibly VA; died 19 Jun 1844 in Jefferson Co., IN. That means that she was approx 11 years of age when she married William!!!
