He is found in the 1800 Washington Co. PA cencus as being born between
1740-55. He is shown as living next door to his son James FOSTER, born in
1865. One of these James FOSTERS is listed as having sold some land to

best as I know right at this moment), My gr grandfather was born in 1860 in
Hanley, he had 22 siblings of which I know almost nothing of. I believe he

I have found a DAR line for the Henry Foster grandson of Anthony Foster of
Spotsylvania VA. This is the Henry Foster who was at Redstone Fort PA during
the Rev. War. He moved to Nicholas Co. KY and had a second wife named Easter.
It was so close.....:-(........but the wrong line.
Back to the drawing board for the first wife of Henry Foster Sr. There is a
marriage listed for a Henry Foster and Mary Montgomery in 1763 but I feel that
although very possible, this is too early for our Henry.
