My middle name Foster comes from my paternal grandmother's maiden name. I
am in search of her (our) heritage to this name. Her father, Claude 'B'
Foster, was born in the 'outskirts' of Somerset, KT in 1886. His father
Joseph C. Foster, also from Somerset, KT (as far as I can tell) 1858-1934.
Joseph married Hulda Heath.
Does anyone recognize this line?
Thanks Frank Foster Barnes, Jr.
No, this is the beginning of my brick wall.

I am looking for any information on Franklin W. Foster SR. born around 1811 married Nancy Barber, they had Franklin Jr., Nancy, Victoria, William, Mary Ann, Emmaline, Mesvinia, Thomas, and Jincy (not in that order) in Georgia. According to the census Franklin was born in South Carolina, I need any information on his ancestors. Any help would be appreciated as I am stumped on him.

Hi Fosters,
My fosters also come from this area, and I don't have very much. Anyone
with information about this family, specifically from this area, please,
PLEASE, PLEASE contact me. My father-in-law was born 1917 in Cass co., TX,
and his father was MUCH older than him, probably born in 1860-70's, named
Thomas Isaac. He was married three times, children named Stewart, Terrell,
Lloyd - b. 1894 (from first marriage) - apparently only Lloyd survived to
adulthood, possibly Stewart, too.
His second marriage

Did he have a son named George?
I have a GEORGE ARCHIE FOSTER in my line, who had a son named ROBERT
ARCHIE FOSTER.
I don't have much info on George, but he was probably born between
1800-1810. I don't know where he was born. He was married in Shelby,
KY in 1830.
His son Robert was born in Shelby, KY in 8/9/1847. They ended up in
KS by 1857.
Since I've run across the middle name "Archie" twice now, I thought
that it would be safe to assume that somewhere there's an Archie or
an Archibald in the famil

Hi,
I am trying to find a living cousin for his sister and brothers. He may
not even know they exist. His name may have been changed and he may have
never been told about his real mother and siblings. He was taken from
his mother's family who was raising him and his siblings, when he was
only a few months old. His mother died approximately two months after he
was born, so the rest of the family was raising the children. We don't
know if he was told about his family as he was raised, or not.

I know the ancestor line, in a limited direct line fashion, and these are
the only Archie names in the line. As far as I know none of your Arch
Fosters are in it.
Not to say some sibling or wife did not have an Arch in their line somewhere.
Seems a bit of an odd name not to have
