As some of you noticed, a list server that houses some of the RootsWeb
lists had some problems for the past week or so, resulting in no list mail
from the lists using that machine. This problem has now been corrected,
and things should be back to normal.
In the future, if you stop receiving mail from this list, there are five
steps you can take to try to find out why.
1) TRY TO SEND A QUERY TO THE LIST ABOUT AN ANCESTOR. If you receive your

Hi Sandy and All.
Sorry for the delay in replying. With about 500 messages a day, mostly garbage
I sometimes miss postings directed to me.
I unfortunately I do not have much info on where the FRANCE family came from.
I'm in Canada so most of my information has come from the Web not actual
research in England.
The LDS site, FreeBMD, Yorksgen and many others have provided me a huge number
of names and dates but little in the way of "who's who". Everybody used the
same first names so sorting them

I would also ask him about his brothers and sisters and parents, as this is
my particular brickwall. I believe he was connected to a family of Upholders

Thanksgiving dinner, which ancestor would you invite? What questions would
you ask him/her?
Please send a post to the list telling us about this ancestor - and please
remember to include dates and locations.
