Feb. 15, 1864 in Henderson Co., TN. His father possibly fought for the Union

age 7, Minerva J.Freeman, age 4, and William G. Freeman, age 1, living with
the family of Jesse Moody, age 47, b. SC. All memebers of the Freeman family

Hi Rich,
I got your post and I also thought the list was quite.
My GGGrandfather David P. Freeman moved to Ohio, it rumored from=A0VA. =20
The time frame would be before 1839. I'm using this time frame because
my GGrandfather was born in Lawrence Co., Ohio in that year. So, David
would have traveled from VA to OH before that time.
Any chance in you checking to see if you have a David P. FREEMAN in you
file?
I believe his middle name is Parker but I have no proof.
Thanks cuz,
Bobbi
Hi Bobbie
Don't have any one by that name in my group yet but I am still finding names.
Will keep your name on file and if I do find David I will send you the
information.
Don't worry about calling me Rich I have been called worse (ha ha).
Glad the list is still working.

While there seems to be a momentary pause in the exchange of family
information, here is a bit of information on the archiving of mail list
messages at rootsweb.
At present, I am not aware of the location of list messages prior to moving
to rootsweb. I know that all the messages formerly archived at MAISER will
eventually be available for search and/or retrieval from rootsweb. More on
this when more is known....
All messages sent to the FREEMAN-L or HAZELRIGG-L lists are archived, both

Today was my first day with the group and the first message had to do
with a Ball/ Freeman connection! Most inteteresting. All of my Freeman
ancestors were so proud to be cousins of Geo Washington.... Supposedly
through his mother. My GGmother Amelia G. Ashton Freeman deposed
that she was a first cousin...as did her brothers and sisters. I do
not know where the Ashton came from, thought perhaps a family connection
and am aware that there are several Ashton/ Washington marriages. I h
