1. [FREEMAN-L] Freeman family cemetery [1]
I found a mention of a Freeman Family cemetery in Lockport, NY at http://members.aol.com/Moecow/lockport.html Apparently, it is located at the northwest corner of Leete Road and Sunset Drive in a plowed field several hundred feet off the road. Wilson farm. Niagara County. My g-g-g-grandmother was Elizabeth Freeman who died 30 Oct 1834. She married Samuel Adams 16 Dec 1817. Her father was Alexander Freeman, one of the original settlers in Lockport, NY. I think she had a brother named Timothy. Does anyo
2. [FREEMAN-L] Robert FREEMAN & Ann ROBINS [1]
Hi Freeman Cousins: I am again placing Ann Robins and Robert Freeman on the table.Have any of you proved the relationship of Ann's children through the next couple of generations? Specifically, Jonathan, who Freeman Forbears banishes to No-mans- Land by saying "these may be nephews rather than sons of Robert. ." I know a lot of you are trying to establish relationship to Bridges as I am. (Working on it for Colonial Dames with renewed fervor at the moment!). I have the data on Ann and sister Elizabeth
3. [FREEMAN-L] Fleming Freeman [1]
Searching for information on a Fleming Freeman who married Lucy Ray, 8 April 1839 in Madison Co., Alabama. Lucy Ray had been previously married to a Mr. Clarke. There were at least two children of this marriage; John b: abt 1841 and James Richard b: 11 Nov 1843. Some have said that this was the second marriage of the Rev Fleming Freeman, son of Col Holman Freeman, Jr. This cannot be true because Rev Fleming Freeman married Nancy A. Murray as a second wife in Jun 1835 and they are buried together in Oak

5. [FREEMAN-L] Freeman/Ellis [1]
Hello. I am seeking information, particularly ancestry and sources, for Elizabeth Freeman who married Lieutenant John Ellis. They had a daughter Bennet Ellis who married Samuel Briggs in MA ca 1664. I would very much appreciate help in finding more about this Freeman ancestor of mine. Thank you very much. Stephanie
6. Re: [FREEMAN-L] Hamlin Freeman [1]
The Elizabeth listed there is Hamblins second wife and the children are his kid with her. He died 3/26/1806. He married Elizabeth Hartwell in 1797 after his first wife died. The children from the first marriage were trying to get their share of the estate before it was consumed by the second wife and children. It gets confusing when you start trying to iron it all out. I have more if you are interested. Charles Freeman

10. [FREEMAN-L] still on the go [1]
Hi Jack, I am still trying to get the time to sit down and write you a detailed response about James Freemn. I have not forgotten about this but my schedule has been really tight lately. Also, I'm trying to do some background work on this so it's taking a little time of which I have a general shortage of most days anyway. Until my schedule opens up a touch let me toss this your way....have you done any research on Elizabeth and Daniel Bush? He was a erv soldier who died in Franklin Co GA about 1801. James

13. [FREEMAN-L] THOMAS FREEMAN, MO [1]
Hi Freeman Cousins: I edit the The Courier, the newsletter of the North Louisiana Civil War Round Table. I have been aware that a Thomas Freeman was appointed as a member of the Confederate Assembly of Missouri. (May not be exact term that was used, this was at beginning of the hostilities). I am writing a paper on " Missouri, the Divided State"...and am most curious to know if he is from my Freemans who were in Carroll and Ray counties northwest Missouri, from late 1820s. I have lots of Freeman dat

15. [FREEMAN-L] Hartwell Freeman, Thomas Freeman, Gabriel Freeeman, NC, GA [1]
Dear Researchers, I have finally found a relative almost from my direct Freeman line. He is Don Freeman and great-great-grandson of my great-great-grandfather Wesley Newell Freeman's brother, Newton Gabriel Freeman. In other words, our 3rd great-grandfather is one in the same, Beverly Allen Freeman. Interestingly enough, he had heard the story that my 4th great-grandfather Gabriel Freeman, was the son of a Jewish "Freeman" from England, settled in New England, moved to VA, then settled in NC. I am looking for verification of the parentage of my gg grandfather, Thomas R(ush) Freeman. Frank Lincoln Freeman (my g grandfather), b. 10 Apr 1864 Adams Co, WI, son of Thomas R and Sophie Temple Freeman of VT according to his death certificate. Thomas R. Marie, Can you clarify this for me? Did the Joel Freeman family you mention (see letter below) actually live in this David-Freeman cabin? Do you happen to know the approx dates?
