Does anyone have anything on the Zacariah Freeman family of GA? They
had settled in Harmony Grove, which is now Commerce, northwest of
present day Athens, GA.

The book you are referring to in your message to Bruce, is it available to
be purchased? I just recently received a copy of my Grandfather's (Ralph J.
Freeman) death certificate and found it contained his Father's name (Marcus
Freeman). Marcus was born in Germany. My Grandfather was born, according to
the family, in Freemansburg, PA. After much research by myself and some
professional research I have been unable to verify his birthplace. Maybe
this book could shed some light on this branch of the Freema

Hello,
I just tried to connect to the URL address given to me for the Chat room and
it would not allow me in due to my AOL address. They say I need Java
connection.
Sorry.
Good luck with the Chat Room

Greetings All,
Looks like some folks made it to chat, I arrived late and there
seemed to be some good discussions going on... remember the chat room is
always open for your use.
Some folks wanted to know how to print the chat room data, the only way
I found that could be done is to "cut and paste" the data, that is...
use your "left" mouse button to "hilight" the text, the press the
"right" mouse button which brings up a pick list, select "copy" and then
"paste" it into another application.

While collecting information about people of the surname Freeman who lived
in New England in the 17th and 18th centuries, I've found quite a few whom
I can't tie to any of the major Freeman families. I would like to know
whether anyone recognizes them and has further information. I'm publishing
them serially on the Northeast-Roots and Freeman lists.
Today's request is for any information about the following Freemans who are
listed in Henry Hobart Vail's "Pomfret, Vermont" (Boston: Cockayne, 1930):
