I have the following inserted for my counter. 1st problem - it is still showing a count of "1" and not increasing. 2nd problem - I have the 'ft' code set for 'zero' for no border, it still shows a border 3rd problem - I have the 'tr' code set for yes on the transparency and it still shows black 4th problem - I have the 'dd' code set for a different numeric style and it still shows the electronic type style. It looks lovely! If you want to put your quilt pages in the quilt directory, just go ahead and do so. Basically, you need to substitute the name on the folder you uploaded to for the word community (and change it to lower case). My counter won't roll over either. I have been reading all the posts and tried several different fixes suggested by the listers, but it still doesn't seem to work. Now, for some unknown reason, it has gone from 145 to 146 magically overnight. I registered it, I pasted the code and the code didn't change when I uploaded it, and I've refreshed the page several times. I'm boggled. Any more ideas? BTW, could someone please repost the URL for the Rootsweb counter? LOL I can't seem to find it either! Thanks. --

Gail, It took me longer to give birth to this web page than it did for my first child. whew... I was up til 7AM deleting, uploading, going to the site, saying lots of Golly Gee Dang It All sort of phrases, deleting again, reloading again...and then giving up. Spent the morning shopping and felt rejuvenated when I got home so I sat down and started from scratch. Remade it page by page checking body tags, links, etc, etc etc. Finally got it back in genealogy_html at 5 or so this evening. (I think I

I go along with the people who say simpler is better. I was a listmember of the Disabled Genies list, and there were always people wanting to know how to get around the midi files and frames. People who are vision impaired and using voice reading programs get botched up by midi files, tables, frames and columns. You all can come surf my pages once they're the way I want them. Cindy, I am not positive but I don't know any that allow the Front Page extensions. Those are usually the counter it provides and other things like that (I think). I have updated mine on other sites by just uploading new or updated pages just fine on this and other sites. That is what extensions are aren't they?
