Thanks so much, Gaila! You're right, I should have included more information. My grandfather's name was Claude Forrest MacDonald (or McDonald). His wife's maiden name was Beulah Lary. From looking at the Georgia census for 1920 and 1930, I can see there are lots of Lary's in Bibb County!
