My husband's GG Grandfather was Charles Gable, born in Maryland. His son was John Martin Gable b. 1835, Louisville, KY. I have found a Charles Gable in the 1840 U.S. Census for Louisville, KY. I have John's death certificate and it shows his mother as Margarette Hargee of Michigan. This family
