Hi Everyone,
There is a new Rootsweb Mailing List called OBIT-LOOKUPS. This list will
allow people to volunteer for and request obituary lookups. I also hope it
will be a forum to discuss finding obituaries, libraries with good
newspaper holdings and other such information.
I have a website that will be the temporary home for the volunteer list.
There is additional information there if you are interested in
volunteering:

Morning all,
If you haven't seen the new resource pages at rootsweb for surnames, stop
by and see the clusters. They have now done the same for county and state
resources http://resources.rootsweb.com/USA/ pick your state then the
county to see what resources are located at rootsweb for each state. For
those planning reunions, genealogy society meetings, etc. go to the bottom
of the page and find the calendar and place your event for a specific date
to the calendar.
