Hi there,
I'd like to converse with anyone related to the Perry family of
Kingsland. Thomas Watkins Perry, Sr. married Smithie Tarver. Thomas
Watkins Perry, Jr. married Mary Barbara Florence 1843. Thomas Jr. had
Carl Arp Perry (married Vivian), James Clayton (married Lula Camp), and
others.
They were originally out of Seale, Russell Co., AL. They came to Camden
in the early 1900s. James C. Sr. was mayor of Kingsland for a time. They
married into many families, including the Bedells of Woodbine.

Hi Charles,
Tara Fields has a webpage for the Bryan-Lang Library on her website "The
Crypt". The URL follows and the location and hours of operation for the
Library follows (taken from the webpage). The Library is located in a
small red brick building. It's at the end of a parking lot across from
the new courthouse. It is, in effect - it's located in front of both
the old courthouse and the new courthouse.
I hope that this helps.

Hello all!
I'm struggling to find information on Melitiah Haley Hebbard and his wife,
Winifred Honaker Hebbard. Here's what I know:
Melitiah was born (probably) November 1795 in St. Mary's, Ga. In his later
life (from 1847) he was a Methodist minister in Central and South Georgia.
He died in March of 1861 in Morgan County, Ga. Winifred was born in Camden
County in November of 1803. They were married in December of 1819. They
had the following children (I'm not sure this is all of them): Sara,

Hi folks,
The director, Darren Harper, has left the library for a new position
with the City of Kingsland. While we will miss him greatly, we're happy
for him at the same time!
While they (the board members) search for a new director, Katie Cooler
will continue with her regular hours of 10 am to 3 pm (double check
that, it may be 9 am to 2 pm). Members of the board will be doing their
best to fill in the rest of the hours. Although I am not a board member,
I will be helping out as well. I know I'll
Does anyone have any information on so-called "Tourist Homes" that lined
Hwy. 17 in the 1920s? Specifically, I'm looking for any that may have
been in the Woodbine area in the late 1920s either along Hwy. 17 or one
of the roads on either side of the railroad (Hwy. 17 was built in 1927).
An example would be the Readdick Tourist Home on 5th Street in Woodbine.
It even advertised heated garages; however, the Readdick home was built
in the 1930s.
Thanks,
Tara
Hi folks,
I'm hoping that these names may strike a cord with someone out there.
I'm looking for information on two families that would inter-marry in

Overton, Tennessee, and died February 10, 1895 in Corinth, Heard County,
Georgia. He married (1) NANCY PIERCE BROWN, daughter of CHRISTOPHER
