In going through my mother's belongings (she passed away Jan. 2, 2002) I keep finding photos of a very beautiful young lady and also some china that she had specially made and signed 'Osha Nosler' 1920 for my grandparents' wedding in 1920. They were Chet and Velma King; he was a grandson of Wiley King and Mary Ann Gadberry, whom I think was a daughter of Andrew Jackson Gadberry of Lometa, TX.
I somehow feel that Osha was a Gadberry relative...but how? Does anyone on this list have a clue to her identity?

Well, Gang, I did a little more digging around and found this among some former 'diggings' my oldest daughter did...still clueless, except for a photo someone had written "Aunt Osha" on the back of. But since Mary Ann was born in Illinois, gets me to thinkin'...Hmmmmm! Well, my

Thank you, Juanita;
It is good to hear from you, and I had thought of Nancy Nosley right away,
but I'm convinced this is a very clear 'r'. There are several pieces of
china, looks like it was specially designed possibly even by her
(Osha)...white with little gold stars on 5 cups, 5 saucers, and creamer and
sugar set...all pieces have her name signed and fired into the porcelain.
Thanks for thinking of me and for a speedy reply. How might I get in touch
with those Nosley researchers?
Sincerely,
Lou Ann

Lou Ann, Keep in mind that Andrew Jackson Gadberry's first
wife was Nancy Nosley. Could the "r" at the end be a "y"?
If so, Osha would probably be a relative through Nancy.
There are some Nosley researchers who might be able to
help.

I don't have anything about the murder you mention. The family appears to
be the one below. I'm sending to the List and maybe others will be able to
answer your question. I would like to know also.

Thank you, Roy;
Yes, and on her age also is a discrepancy. One census claims she was born
in 1840? and the other in 1845? as I recall. Some more of 'history's
mysterys', I guess.

Now why didn't I think of that! Juanita you are sharp! Maybe a check of
the Bloomfield Cem records if available will help.
