Hi, I'm seeking info on Alice Magee. I'm not totally sure of the spelling of the last name. Alice was born to Jane Glass and ? Magee. She was a retired school teacher in 1948 and living in Atlanta, GA that year. The only other info I have is that she had an aunt named Martha Glass who was born about 1823 in Tennessee and an uncle Joseph Glass. Hi, I am looking for information on a Joseph Powell, who was the brother of our grandfather, Robert E. Lee Powell. We believe that he may have been born sometime in the 1860's, either in Texas, Mississippi or Georgia. Our information is that at one time he was a sheriff in GA, most likely in Fulton County. I am trying to find a William L or William J Gillespie that was born in SC, around 1849 but lived his adult life in Ga. He lived in Forsyth county and died there around 1915. His wife was Mary A. and children Lessie. Kate, Monroe, Earl, Walter.... Hello: It has been two days since I placed the question about West Side Hospital on email. Since I did not get a quick reply I assume that others do not know either. West Side Hospital was located in 1935 at 756 Marietta St., NW Atlanta, GA with phone # 4178 It was either closed or sold and given another name as after 1940 it is not listed in the Atlanta City Directory.
