Hello everyone,
I am looking for where in GA my Daniel/Daniels Family might have come from.
The story was somewhere around Atlanta Area. I first pick them up in 1860
Conecuh County, Alabama. If you have any clues or perhaps have seen them
please let me know as this is our brick wall and I can't break it down.
The 1860 Census reads as follows:
Levica Daniels 32 B GA
John 14 B GA
Mary 12 B Ga
Thomas 10 B GA
Martha 7 B GA
Susan 5 B GA
Rachael 4 B GA
Georgiana 1 B GA

I have the rosters for this group December 1918 and January 1919. This
was an African American unit which trained at Camp Gordon, Atlanta.
Most were from Georgia.
I can do a look up for anyone looking. The rosters contain the service
numbers as well. The officers for this unit were white.
