From an old (1926) obituary, the individual was buried in the churchyard
of Pentecost First Baptizing Holiness Church, Atlanta. Is this cemetery
still in existence and/or is there a cemetery reading of the graves?
Specifically, I would like to know if Nancy Medley, born ca 1846 and died
February 1, 1926 is shown as buried there.
Thank you!
Barbara
If you can't be thankful for what you have...be thankful for what you escape.
Will try again.

Were records made of burials and unknown burials of confederates war dead at make shift confederate hospital cemeteries?
Mount Olive Baptist Church in East Point, Ga. has several marked confederate veterans but has 12 marked as "Unknown".
(Rumor is that the church was a confederate hospital.)
There are dozens upon dozens of graves marked with a concrete type block mostly in the same area near the marked unknowns.
Is there anyway of finding out how many war dead burials could be there.
(and no, the church

She is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA.
I only know of 1 child born to John Robert Hayes & Macy Viola Pit

Maybe you have to go there to ask.
We went one day and asked the person in the office where my husband's
grandmother was buried. He looked it up, gave us a little map and
checked where she was. I then asked for the names of the people buried
in the same lot. He told me and I wrote them down.
